The school offers post graduate courses in Life Science and Industrial Microbiology. It is a recognized center of research in Life Sciences in the areas like photosynthesis, photobiology, plant biology, applied microbiology, immunology, animal physiology and environmental biology. The school has well equipped laboratories and research projects funded by National and International agencies. In addition to School of Life Sciences, the campus has separate departments of Biochemistry and Biotechnology.
